Ireland Represented at Datacloud 2015

Host in Ireland to Showcase Ireland's Fastest Datacentre Pace in Monaco

Garry Connolly, President and Founder of Host in Ireland, said: We are delighted to take part in the Datacloud Global Congress. As data continues to become the oxygen for successful global businesses.Host in Ireland (@hostinireland), an industry-led collaborative initiative created to increase global awareness in hosting digital assets in Ireland, has announced its participation in Datacloud 2015 Global Congress Europe, which takes place in Monaco June 3-4, 2015.

Host in Ireland is an industry-led marketing initiative that provides information on the Ireland's Digital Asset Hosting Ecosystem at all times including demonstrating why Ireland is more cost effective, efficient, reliable, secure and accessible than most other regions across the EU.

Its initiative comes from humble beginnings to one of collaboration for exploratory discussions and mutual research and they say there’s a reason companies like Microsoft, Zendesk, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Adobe and many more have sought to host their solutions in as well as to and from Ireland. Many of these reasons are immediately realized due to its affordable power, redundant network and bandwidth capacity along with a variety of data center providers that offer an array of services.

Talking about their appearance at the Datacloud Global Congres, Garry Connolly (pictured above), President and Founder of Host in Ireland, said. "We are delighted to take part in the this conference. As data continues to become the oxygen for successful global businesses, customers increasingly assess data center and hosting locations based on a blend of the 5 Ps; policies, pedigree, people, power, and pipes. This event offers a unique international platform for us to present and demonstrate why Ireland continues to be a premier location for the hosting of digital assets."

Datacloud 2015, now in its eigth year, is the successor event to Datacentres Europe and the Enterprise Cloud Forum. It is one of the region's leading forums for IT and cloud infrastructure executives. During the two-day programme which will see around 1800 executives from 50 countries in attendance, 150 of the highest calibre speakers and experts, many of whom are enterprise infrastructure leaders will present keynotes, panel sessions, hands on labs, workshops and product demonstrations, bringing the very latest in ideas, market developments and practical solutions.

Datacentres are the foundation of the IT stack supporting global trends in virtualization, cloud, the Internet of Things and the massive growth of data. In managing the continuing transformation of compute, enterprise infrastructure leaders face the dual pressure of cost control and need for stringent security. As the complexity of computing infrastructure increases, enterprises are also discovering challenges in integrating a number of computing solutions into their datacentre facilities.

Philip Low, Managing Director at BroadGroup, the company that hosts Datacloud, commented: "Datacloud Europe is the premier meeting place and forum for IT and cloud innovators, and we are delighted that Host in Ireland will be taking part, what differentiates this event completely is the participation of the leadership, influencers and executives managing data center assets in enterprises plus a tremendous programme covering critical technical, commercial, and operational topics. Attendees also tell us that Monaco presents a spectacular location to meet, network, and make deals."
