The OpenShift Ireland User Group is mainly aimed at existing OpenShift users in Ireland but is also open to professionals that are looking to find out more about OpenShift and to learn from user experiences.
It is meant to be a platform for knowledge transfer and exchange of experiences. The user group will focus on presenting and discussing real workloads that customers are running and have customer presentations focus on such.

This talk will demonstrate how to deploy Openshift 4.6 on Openstack 13, it will build out all the required resources in an Openstack project, Networks, outers, DNS, etc. before finally invoking the IPI installer to provision the cluster

Anton is a partner architect at IBM Cloud with around 20 years of experience in delivering web technology. His core focus is bringing cloud-native technologies and practices to organizations that are looking to accelerate their adoption of modern software techniques.
He's also a long-standing member of the Node.JS organization where he generally supports native userland components.
Node.js On OpenShift
This talk will be an overview of the benefits of using Node.js in a container environment with a discussion on the reference architecture that IBM and RedHat have been compiling based on their experience delivering internal products and working with customers deploying Node.JS into production.
